About the event

Who will you vote for at the General Election on 4th July? Do you want to hear what candidates for the Reigate constituency have to say and have the chance to ask them questions?

Come to a Hustings at St John's Church on Tuesday 25th June.

The General Election candidates vying to be the next MP for Reigate will be outlining why you should vote for them. They will have a few minutes each to set out their case and tell you about themselves, then questions will be taken from the audience.

All declared candidates for the Reigate constituency have indicated they will attend.

They are, in alphabetical order:

George Beglan (UK Reform Party)

Stuart Brady (Labour Party)

Jonathan Essex (Green Party)

Mark Johnston (Liberal Democrats)

Rebecca Paul (Conservative Party)

St John's Church is a member of Eco Church and has achieved a Bronze award. The Eco Church scheme encourages churches to engage their communities with politicians - local and national - on environmental issues. The environment will be a starting point, however, as it is just one of many hot topics of the election campaign. Other discussion points range from tax and the economy to immigration, housng, education and the NHS (health), plus many more.

Do you have burning questions about how candidates would handle local matters? Or concerns about national policy?

Come armed with topics and put forward your thoughts on the night.

Questions should be kept short and to the point.

* Please note the evening will be held in the church and not the adjacent centre, which will be in use by local groups.

This is a non-ticketed event.

You are advised to arrive in good time. Parking and seating is not reserved.
