Junior Church
The Children's and Young People's Groups meet on the first, third and fifth Sunday of the month during term time only, this group is run by volunteers in the church and all children are welcome to attend from age 3 upwards, including visiting children for example during baptism services (children can return in time for the baptism).
The volunteers have completed DBS checks and are therefore qualified to look after your children during the service. The second and fourth Sundays of each month are a family service and a family communion service respectively - a supervised Creche is available at the back of the church during services on the first, third and fifth Sundays of the month for any children who wish to use it. On other Sundays, adult supervision is required.
Please email childrensgroups@stjohnsredhill.org.uk for details. The groups mirror the school years. At Christmas, the groups come together to perform a Christmas play and during Nov/Dec rehearsals will alter the usual pattern of the groups. The last session before the summer holidays is usually a party.
